  • AQHI Forecast Alert [17:00 2024-05-17]

    Since 14th May, Hong Kong has been continually under the influence of a dry easterly air stream, it is expected that the background ozone and suspended particulate levels will be higher than normal, and the health risk category of Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) at some air quality monitoring stations may reach high or above. (4) The AQHI information is based on real time data taken directly from EPD's Air Quality Monitoring Network.

(5) In case of equipment or station suspension due to repair and maintenance, the data collection for calculation of AQHI at station will be affected, the data of similar stations will then be adopted. Such AQHI will be shown with an asterisk.

(6) Owing to suspension of electricity supply for maintenance work, the operation of Eastern Air Quality Monitoring Station will be suspended on 18 May 2024.  We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
